A Level B inspection is a data-driven evaluation that includes a ZIPLEVEL® elevation survey, visual assessment of cracks, doors, and framing distress, and an engineering-based review of deflection and tilt. You receive a clear status: performing or needs attention.
A foundation elevation survey maps interior floor elevations with a ZIPLEVEL® altimeter to quantify movement. The results reveal slab deflection and tilt (L/360 reference) and help distinguish cosmetic issues from structural performance concerns.
We analyze elevation data against deflection/tilt thresholds, correlate measurements with visible symptoms, and consider site factors like drainage, grading, and vegetation. Our report explains the numbers in plain language and states a defensible conclusion.
Most Level B inspections take about 90–120 minutes on site. In many cases, the written report with elevation map and diagrams is delivered within 24 hours.
